I'm reading a fascinating book: The Introvert Advantage: How to Thrive in an Extrovert World (while "Making the Most of Your Hidden Strengths") by Marti Olsen Laney, Psy. D.
One of the interesting terms/concepts I came across was "emotional intelligence." Sound a bit like an oxymoron? It did to me, too.
Then I realized emotions do not contradict intelligence. It's possible to have emotional intelligence; it's possible for head and heart to co-habitate.
I am a thinker/feeler. Sounds much like head/heart, though I've never thought of it that way until now.
